The couple included the hashtag “abdonobhagna-ni” in their post.
Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani have officially tied the knot, exchanging vows in a picturesque wedding ceremony held in Goa. The newlyweds delightedly shared enchanting snapshots from their special day, showcasing Rakul adorned in a soft-hued lehenga and Jackky in an elegant white sherwani. Their radiant smiles in the wedding portraits exuded sheer happiness and love, capturing heartfelt moments including the traditional sindoor-daan ceremony. With the heartfelt caption “Mine now and forever. 21-02-2024” accompanied by the hashtag “abdonobhagna-ni,” the couple expressed their enduring commitment.
The couple’s joyous union in Goa, a destination they opted for over their initial international plans, featured two ceremonies – an Anand Karaj and a celebration infused with Sindhi customs. Preceding the nuptials, the duo hosted a vibrant sangeet ceremony graced by performances from Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra. Although Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal, expecting their first child, departed Goa before the festivities, a constellation of celebrities including Shahid Kapoor and Mira, Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur, and Ayushmann Khurrana with Tahira Kashyap added sparkle to the celebrations. The guest list also included Bhumi and Samiksha Pednekar, Esha Deol, as well as Riteish Deshmukh accompanied by his wife Genelia D’Souza, owing to the familial connection with Jackky’s sister Deepshikha.
Rakul Preet Singh, celebrated for her contributions to Hindi and South cinema, embarked on her cinematic journey with the 2009 Kannada film “Gilli” and gained prominence with her Hindi debut in “Yaariyan” (2014). Her recent appearance in the Tamil film “Ayalaan” underscores her versatile talent, with upcoming projects including “Indian 2” alongside Kamal Haasan. Jackky Bhagnani, recognized for his roles in “Rangrezz” and “Youngistaan,” has carved his niche as a producer with notable ventures like “Jawaani Jaaneman,” the remake of “Coolie No 1,” “Ganapath,” and the forthcoming “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.”
